Nice ride plate. Guess this will be the new fad. Let's mount the pole to the front bumper.

    gas tank vent question

Why would we want to waste time with that useless setup ? The separator does absolutely nothing other than fill up with water.

    dual bilge wiring question

Potentially your ski could go up in flames. So, I guess you do need a fuse on any electrical circuit.

    gas tank vent question

See that one ? You need your return line hooked up or you'll have a bunch of fuel in your bilge.

    gas tank vent question

The return fuel lines connects your carb return line to the tank. What carb/carbs combo are you running ?

Since your hood is already painted you could seal up those intakes from underneath once the liner is removed.

    gas tank vent question

    There's only one vent line.

Search for Sluttys hood mod. It involves removing the liner and making a new one. You can save a bunch of weight and greatly reduce the amount of water that floods into your bilge.

    dual bilge wiring question

Don't look at the colors on the switch. What I would do, Run a wire from battery positive terminal to a fuse holder (make this wire as short as possible) From the fuse holder run the wire to both bilge rumps (depending on pump that would be the black wire but make sure the pumps are...

    gas tank vent question

On my tank (from left to right) 2 fuel lines as I run dual carbs, fuel tank vent, return fuel line. The vent is just a short piece of hose, check valve and another short piece of hose that dangles down by the battery. You don't need that second piece of hose, I just have it there in case I...

    dual bilge wiring question

What switch are you running ? Why would the switch require a negative wire unless it has a light or something ?? It's always better to switch the negative side of the bilge pump circuit as it reduces the chance of an electric shock when riding in salt.

    gas tank vent question

You don't need the water separator. Just run a short piece of hose with the check valve on it and you are done. Here's a picture of mine but you don't even need that much hose.

    It's a beach tank

A ribbed belt (think timing belt in a car) would be better suited for sand and water than a chain. Safer as well.

    Someone please help me understand!!!

I was a subscriber for some years and I too was hit with the phantom issues. It was a good magazine but over the years it got thinner and thinner to the point that it started looking like a pamphlet. It's a shame as I always preferred print over a computer screen. IMO, pictures need to be on...

    It's a beach tank

Ultimate fail. The effort it took to load and unload the ski was much greater than if he used a regular 4 wheeled tote and humped it up that hill. If you were to mount that motor up by the handle and use a drive belt that thing would be able to get into the water so mo more ski dragging...

pics of front exhuast in sn

Just checked to see if I already have any pictures but all the ones I have have the fuel tank blocking the view. I'm swamped with work tomorrow so the earliest I'll have anything worth showing will be late in the afternoon.

    Just getting started??? 90 superjet

I think it's a good start provided the price is right. One with a 701 already in it and some mods (pipe, head, prop, intake grate,....) is a better start and can be had fir about $1500. A clean 650 should cost less as it will need some mods.

I run a RN waterbox and have an X-metal "t" welded on. Had to play around with the angles a bit but it all fit nicely. I first tried with a PVC "T" to make sure it all would work. If I don't forget I'll snap a few shots tomorrow.
