The day I posted this thread was the last time I was able to get onto the site.
Since then I have flushed and cleaned the entire fuel system. Low speed jets were totally plugged up.
She runs like a champ now except for the goofy handle bars.
Thanks for the links Wolf, I'll check them both out.
I know this isn't exactly a dirt bike but I figured someone here would know.
Picked up a 96 Honda Shadow VT1100C (I want to be a Harley) that has been sitting for over 2 years. Yep, there's varnish in the tank.
Need to clean the fuel system but want to do some research first so I don't screw...
Must be.
From what I know Ken drives all over the country and buys up skis wholesale. Some he re-sells and quite a few get broken up for parts.
He and one other guy have sucked up all the deals in my area like a bunch of vacuum cleaners. Good luck finding something nice in a 100 mile radius...
I'm in Naples.
I think Ken is just too swamped with skis so he's dropping prises. He should have a few motors, electric boxes, pumps,...........................
a shait load of everything.
Never went over to his house but I'll have to stop by one of these days.
What about this one ?

Ken (seats) is up in Cape Coral and has a few squares from what I know.
The Pumpkin is treated like a total whore and she keeps on giving. That ski is proof that a properly set up stroker can be as reliable as a stock stroke motor but with a shait lot more power.
Strokers are only as good as the guy building them, if I was told to pull the motor down every 32 hours...
Can't be all that bad.
I was told that if I wanted a stroker (6mm) I should pull the motor down once a year for inspection purposes only.
Stock stroke big bores run for years and years though.
