i had one of those throttle wheels on the x2 when it had the 650. that engine/carb went into the jetmate. on the 750's carb, i flipped the piece around and the throttle response is the same as it would normally be. sometimes you have to tweak the brackets to align properly. and now, the jetmate...

i used the stock x2 throttle cable with a hot products (i think) mikuni top-pull bracket. it bolts to the 2, otherwise useless, holes just under the f/a on the carb.

slight change of plans here, guys....... SBT is stepping up and supplying the engine (shortblock, i assume) for this build since my original 650 engine fell through for it. THANKS SBT!!!!!!! :woot: :cheer2:

theres no mess made with foaming a ski, unless you mix WAY too much. DEfoaming is a different story. are you talking about foaming or defoaming?

registration. you know that the regs have to be accessed far too often to be put in an inconvenient place like under a gas cap!:11:

if youre doing lime green, stay away from orange. it will look way ghetto and will remind people of gross-tasting halloween treats. itll be too much color, IMO. i definately prefer your first idea.

my opinion is cod dragging is not fun. you go, gil! actually, i have an internal fill and still have the external fuel cap. it has about 4" of hose and a 1" pvc end cap. i use it to store the whistle and registration.

ive never used them but they seem to be a good and cheap alternative. they "drop in" which is good because you dont have to remove the liner to install handcups under the holds, like you do with homemade ones (unless you make a flanged handhold like blowsion sells).

the RN pole looks a helluva lot nicer on a square, but id rather have the strength of the a/c pole.
