They are different numbers because the rev limit on the two engines is different, the 657 has a higher rev limit than the 587, it would work if the 587 was propped up to turn a higher rpm.

Truefully from what I have seen thus far I have little to no interest in riding one, sorry if I got all you BOBers panties in a wad.

It is much harder to reboard but the control you have over the ski is amazing,since your feet are so far out you can get way out of whack with the ski and one kick on the corner of the ski with your foot and its right back in line.

Ok I will get back on topic although that was not much of a deviation. In other threads regarding the 300SX DK stated it was an ill handling POS and that their magic hull mods made it ridable again. Now I and several others who have built these ski have found this to be totally false and...

Actually the 650SX is narrower in the middle of the strakes, you can see it if you look closely at his pics.
