what does the original hood seal look like?? the one on mine looks just like an OE superjet seal...
bout 15 minutes ago painted the bilge of mine with Interlux Bilgecoat....seems a great product went on very nicely kind of a medium shade of grey
its drying in the dining room right now :)
i have been running couch mounts in my last 3 skis and have yet to break one....used to replace OEM's once every year/half
raider, venture, GP800..whatever i'd guess gp12 mounts are the same
you just cant handle my big HP 2x4
IMO the risers add a bit of responsivness to the handling/steering.......plus it really does give the boat a modern look
they are definatly a little trickier to figure out boarding (espeically the first time towing with them).. but now I find my lower back hurts MUCH less since switching to the riser system...

I layed up 1 layer of 17oz biax (dyed black) on the sides of mine......about 25 layers light cloth in the nose over the crack, should be virtually indestructable.....
mine will be getting a LTD pipe and full size tank as well.......

not all boats are the 'break out another thousand' kind....I have a couple of small boats that are worth less than a thousand apiece that are a saving grace for crappy wave days
