you dont need a different steering cable....roundi cable works as good as in a SJ if you trim/slit the breather tubes... the noserail is a must, butti figured out the install......zero compromise to the nose mine's 701 based as well.....it makes the motor feel absolutly outstanding

got a razr hood here.....hand laid, perfect. whats not to like? perfect fitment right out of the box...just make sure to line p the hood hooks loose..then tighten its currently being used on a superfreak hull....no adjustment needed, perfect fitment

you need to do an experiment.... take your hood and a pool noodle......throw the hood into a pool with as little as a 12" piece of foam it should float it...... I ran for years without nosefoam, and had a couple of near losses aka sunk and bouncing off the bottom and will never be...
