So what is the purpose of adding an MSD enhancer? Just up's the revs?

Well after just a few responses I will admit that I was wrong. I thought the MSD would advance the timing enough to warrant being concerned over pre-deto conditions. But I guess it doesn't advance it as I thought.

After trimming my Attwood bilge pumps the tops looks pretty nasty where the blue writing smeared form the grinder. I just took some white epoxy appliance paint and sprayed them down. It has held up for 2 months now. I sanded the top well where I painted.

Alright... I'll definatly put in some money into the raffle. If I spend $100 in raffle tickets, and pay say $400-500 to ship it, that is still worth my while ... :biggrin:

What do you mean more range? Like riding distance/time? I think not. I have not seen a SXR that gets better mileage than an SJ, even if the SJ was pretty setup and the SXR is stock.

I started on a SXR, then had both an SXR and an SJ, then sold the SXR, and now have 2 SJ's

just send it in and get a replacement from SBT or somewhere. Or keep your eyes open for a used one in usable condition.

Pretty sweet. Lots of work, but looks the best to do if your willing.
