I had a pair of slippery boots that worked great a few years back. I changed to JP and they blew apart within a matter of weeks. Went back to the new Slippery comp boots this summer. Aside from a little bit of delamination on the rubber front where it moulds around the sides, they are holding...

:haha: - yeah, I love my UMI throttles... never had one problem with them. My buddy has a new TBM on his SXR... curious to see how long it holds up. also, SJKny, KVPI i think still makes them... I think.

LOL... yeah... I forgot all about the $25... that was the most expensive single print subscription I ever got... :bigeyes: Come to think of it, I don't recall if I really ever got it or not... too long ago to remember.

TBM makes one that uses a bearing and is adjustable to make it either straight or angle pull. Pretty nice... I, however, have been using UMI for several years on all my skis.

Do you know if there is a website to check it out? I only remember one issue back in 2002...

I used foam in my SN... Newman used foam in his RN. Definitely much easier to sand. But most likely not as strong as resin/hardener/silica. Not sure which way I plan to go on my RN this winter.
