Ahh, that doesn't look too bad. Just throw some glass over it on both sides, it'll be good to go. Sharky's hull did the same thing a few months ago, those backflips must be killers.

How does the 1" underpad affect your foothold positioning? I think the standard underpad is 1/4"... if so, next time I'm going to try 2 layers of it. I think 1" would be huge overkill for me (flatwater). Plus I don't think my feet would fit in the holds with with that much padding.

What did you use before? Like a 1/4" of underpad? I know for sure it makes a big difference even going from mat (no underpad) to mat/thin underpad. So that 1" underpad must be really sweet.

I could use an FX-1 short shaft, cheaper tham OEM but just as nice. I need it to be able to handle 200 horsepower.

I don't think there would be, you can still buy them new for around $120. Make a billet Lamey cylinder with an exhaust bridge. That would be killer.

Are you sure about this? I think it's great news. The fuel injected or 4-stroke standup might never have come (because of obvious low sales figures).

He said it was really light for flatwater, it must be one of those 2 minute hulls.
