3. Polystyrene strips in the handlepole & attached to the hood.
4. Two 1100 gph Rulemate bilgepumps auto bilge pumps.

F THAT! You NEED floatation...especially in waves and Lake Erie is not shallow enough.... I know skis that were 'sealed' that went down too. I'd do 1000 or so industrial pingpong balls and make sure it has a full bulkhead, versaplugs and an 1100Rulemate floatswitch pump (won't wear down your...
Lots of people have separated them. It's a TON of work. If you have lots of time to work on it, go for it. That is the right way to fix it. It probably needs new foam anyway and reinforcement in the back.....BUT,
If you do not have a lot of time, tools and a shop to work on it, I would epoxy it...
Salt water is a bitch. I can't imagine fixing all the power in lower Manhatten and the entire state of NJ. It's just a HUGE task. I am actually surprised as many people are up and running as they are. I would think the Salt would have destroyed everything.
I used fuellineguy green on two different skis. It lasts about 3 years and then it's toast. As far as water lines, I've been using air compressor hose...works great!
