    I'm sick of this...

I am also the exact opposite. I can only ride about 10 minutes with straight bars....I need a slight slight bend, hence the 4 degree. My main point was that the crossbar seems to make them stronger. Even the zero degree. The straight pipe just seems to have a lot of distance from the clamp...

So are the steering systems. Sick setup.

    I'm sick of this...

I got rid of my straight bars (Bruins bars) and went back to an older UMI/Blowsion 4 degree bar with the crossbar. Just seems way stronger and more comfortable. Drilled new holes in my Bruins steering plate to make em fit. Happy with the results. Not sure why everyone went to the straight...

Crack. To refoam or not to refoam?

I am going to go against what everyone is saying. I'd refoam with polystyrene or pingpong balls, and put in footholds and straps along with a drain plug. It looks like that tray is going to cave in if you keep jumping on it.

Other Please turn in your gopros and get one of these instead..

Or glue some turf to it... This seems like a cool idea, but I have to ride pretty far out... If it went up and down, that would help, but it seems to only pan left and right..would be cool for watch yourself ride to improve, but I doubt the vids would come out that good.

New standup targeted to young riders

I don't think a kiddie standup is needed. I had my 8 and 12 year old stepkids riding my Trinity no problem. The great thing about stand-ups is they can't go fast if they don't have the skills, because they will fall. So speed is limited right away. In general, it is difficult for a beginner...

SXR Sxr to aftermarket hull/ sj

The Rok is FUN. I wish I had more time on one. If Trinity ever makes something like this, it will be time for me to upgrade.

SXR Sxr to aftermarket hull/ sj

A Rok hull even takes it a step further...more flingability, more agile, still got some good handling...and REALLY light. I liked the one I rode (addict's ski) a lot. This has a bit of a learning curve even going from my lightweight ES-2 trinity. A lightweight SXR (Trinity, Envy, Quicktime)...

Nice! I meant with a stock motor. What kind of 1000?

SXR Sxr to aftermarket hull/ sj

last thing: With the same weight hull, your Kawi 800 will take less mods than a 701 SJ to get the same power. I still only run a pipe and flywheel. Everything else is stock.

SXR Sxr to aftermarket hull/ sj

With any of these boats, (Envy or Trinity) you will be able to do flatwater rolls if that is your goal, but they are not small enough for flatwater backflips. You can also do rolls on a Superjet. The only thing the super small hulls will get you is the backy....but you lose SO MUCH handling...

Custom/Hybrid Rickter FR2 Evo sink question

Throw a ratchet strap over the hood. That should keep it on. What about pole foam to keep it upright? Shove pool noodles in the pole?

Yes it is. It makes a HUGE difference. I actually learned it from some Canadians 16 years ago.

Dave Ramsey, debt, credit cards, retirement, etc

Awesome, Darin...just refinanced again. It was a big one. Should take 12 years off of my loan, if I continue to make the same payments and save me over $120,000 in interest. Bad for banks, good for me. I have been debt free for a year (except for house and college loans). My wife will be...
