I had mine snipped about 5 weeks ago. In 3 weeks I was skiing moguls (probably the hardest thing you can possible do to your knees). I was walking that day. It still hurts a little bit when I kneel, but that is just the holes healing. Very easy surgery. I basically felt better than before...

I don't think people realize how powerful an SXR engine is in light hull. If you put stock 701 Yami and 800 SXR motors in the exact same hull, the Kawi would completely smoke it. Anyone get the DASA 1000 Kawi cylinder to work yet?

The only way you'll make that ski fast is with an SXR cylinder on a big pin case with a light flywheel....basically, I'd ride it until you can afford something else. For what you will spend putting a yamaha motor in it, you could have a nice freestyle built up square nose 701 ready to rip...

Remember, you are probably going about the same distance...you are just getting there A LOT faster. The ski revs up way faster...I would guess that you will ride way more aggressive with the pipe.
