I didn't say it was justifiable. I was merely pointing out that desperate times call for drastic measures. I doubt Trace wants to do this (if he does end up doing it) but his expenses might drag his family down as well.

Yes. The stock is a 13/18 chubby swirl knock-off and is a great prop. Your 13/18 Swirl is thinner and cuts through the water a little more efficiently. Still, it's a great pitch. You can always check to see how your hitting and whether or not it's a functional solution to address the prop.
It may not be as simple as that. In Trace's defense, if there is one, his medical expenses could cripple him financially for decades. Suing Mike is what he considers to be his only salvageable solution. Mike may have to stop promoting but Trace can move on to a functional financial life...
