For the under-padding you might want to talk to your local HVAC guy to see if he can get you some of these. http://www.drillspot.com/products/66748/Rubatex_FS-1-3648_Insulation_Sheet
Most supply houses can get it in a matter of days and the stuff is mega soft. Rubatex makes a nice glue for it...
Damn it. I missed the obvious tie in.
Broken down trailers and guns, what was I thinking ?!?
Anyone want to lend me their wife beater shirt ?
:headbang:
They do that the moment they announce to the world that they are packing in a trailer damage thread.
Now I know he has a gun and can prepare accordingly. Oops, there goes the element of surprise.
Tell me about it.
All these civilians carrying guns just to make them selves feel tougher when in fact, if push came to shove they would crap their draws. Or blindly shoot into the darkness all the while keeping their Glocks all gangsta like sideways.
:laugh2:
Excuse my ignorance but how is that "Mr Glock" going to help you get back on the road ?
Wouldn't having some tools or spare parts be of more help ??
Yep, watch out for that boogeyman.
Welcome to the world of the stock SN waterbox.
I have 2 that look quite similar and yes, the sound is quite loud when they go BOOM.
BTW, a RN aluminum waterbox fits right in. It's lighter and won't come apart like that.
Right now my beach cart (aluminum tubing with carpet) serves as my bunks.
2" aluminum tubes should hold up for quite some time and the carpet seams to last much longer than on wooden bunks.
