however, I did lose the scupper flap a few years ago and all I have left is the trim ring. Not one drop of water ever gets in through the trusty old Home Depot valve.
The WORX intake grate is always a good choice but there are others.
Footholds and turf would be my first step as well as fixing the steering on that 09. A pipe would be my next step.
Don't bother with AM rideplates, just cut down the stocker to what ever length works for you. Leave the stock...
You're spoiled.
One fine saturday the wife comes home from shopping and finds the kitchen in a cloud of smoke coming out of the oven.
Guess I didn't clean all the oil off the cylinder before I decided to bake it. Oops.
The bitch feast went on for at least 30 minutes (don't know exactly as...
ever hear of microwave ovens at 7-11 ?
Using regular would turn it into a winter project even in your neck of the woods.
I know someone (no, not me) who sealed his pump shoe on a GPR with regular 5200. The shait was dripping all over his garage floor for the next few days.
If a quick fix with 5200 means that I'm riding this weekend instead of waiting for parts, I'm gluing the sucker.
Nothing will sink and the 5200 is only there to stop air from entering the pump.
This may not be the correct fix but it does work.
Yep, the price of the conversion is ridiculous.
I can get all the parts directly from Europe for much less but living in flat Florida I just don't need the 4x4 that bad.
Still, would be a nice project.
I see.
Like I said, looking good.
You don't need an aftermarket hood to see some nice benefits though. By sealing up the top vent holes and making a new liner you can greatly reduce the amount of water that floods your bilge plus you can shed a ton of weight. All that for just a few $$...
You can still run AM couplers.
What you need is the 90-93 bearing carrier and a 93 and up (larger thread) shaft.
Early and later mid shafts are identical except for the threaded area.
