i just turfed my holds on friday. heat is definitely the key. without glue on the turf heat the turf and mold it into the holds,cutting and trimming till you have the fit you want. dont heat too much or you will melt the turf, but with the right amount of heat the turf will become much more...

i just installed eme footholds today. used rivets, 2 layers of glass (epoxy resin) and i was thinking about putting a layer of 5200 over the glass and seams to be sure that they didnt leak. i was lucky and my foam was dry, and i want to keep it that way.

currently own a 750sx, buying a rn sj tomorrow, will ride both this weekend. never rode an sj before. will report back on what i prefer.

reinforce the pole itself where the bracket that holds the turnplate mounts to the pole, if your using the stock pole. mine is starting to crack there.....

switching to a mikuni sbn44 on my 750sx. what do you guys suggest for rebuilding it to work correctly with my stock exhaust? what springs, needles, ect?

i think with the right buyer that understood what your performance parts are you could get 1500$. i paid 1000 for a bonestock 750sx, but it was in excellent shape.

thanks for the info. i was just looking for the easiest way to do it. this is my first stand up, my last ski was an x-2 and it was without dash. i got the hull hacked up now for a foot hold install.....anyone got an easy way to get those purple tubes cut out of the back? going in thru the tray...

so, i ripped out the old hydroturf today to begin the foothold install, and i wanted to remove the dash so i can returf that area and make it look clean after the footholds are installed. looks like the hood latch is riveted to the dash plate?? i have from left to right the primer, the hood...
