thanks man.
im wanting to T the two outputs off the head so i dont have to run a 3rd pisser. im just wondering if thats safe to do, and if its ok to run this head with single cooling.
im wondering.... i have SINGLE cooling on a stock 701 61x/61x single carb blaster.
i have a milled stock head that was tapped for dual cooling. the head should be around 175-180 psi.
should i use this head now, or wait till winter when i tap my pump for dual cooling?
if i do use this head now...
have ordered from him twice, and he is better than any person or any online store that i have ordered from.. super fast shipping, and easy to get a hold of if you need to talk to him.
save up for a superfreak then. i have a lot of time on my hands to read while im deployed, and the superfreak seems like the best all around hull from what i read. it will be my next big purchase!!!
not bad for 100$ !!
i would ditch the round body carbs. try to find a single square body mikuni single 44 or 46 (will require a different intake manifold) or if you want to stick with dual 38's the yamaha guys are always selling square 38's as a set cheap. they were the stock carbs on 62t...
well, that being said, i took the survey.
not to be rude, but maybe introduce yourself before asking for things like that? just seemed odd. look at it from a strangers point of view. you know the guy, i do not.
these guys are cheap, and ive heard good things... http://www.forwardair.com/
looks like they have a regular terminal in vegas, and an extended service terminal in sarasota.
needed a spot for a bilge switch, the stock bars look horrendous, and i really like odi grips.
and i wanted to try the cold fusion throttle lever. i guess all this wasnt really necessary, but i think ill like it better than stock
im still in kandahar. ill get to install this stuff in a few weeks when i get home. i got a new cold fusion throttle lever, and im using the stock start/stop switch. i dont for see any problems.
i got new ODI grips from jetmaniac here on the X, and got the bars from this guy http://myworld.ebay.com/seismiccycles/ on ebay.
25$ for the grips
58$ for the bars
