I ordered the Hydro Turf seal for my 550 hood, but after doing some reading, I think I may have made a mistake. whats good and where can I get it.

I see a nasty staph infection in your future. You'll never keep it clean OR dry. it will be breeding ground for all kinds of bacteria and mold. and the damp smell will be everywhere.

I have wasted no time. I have the nose repaired and have new turf cut and ready to install. I also fixed a crack in my hood. I forsee my JS550 back in the water by next weekend. all I'm lacking is a hood seal at this point.

alright... I got the seal off and gave it a look see. I think I can fix it quick fast and in a hurry. My suspicions er correct. they used, something, to bond it. it's not even glassed. The gap is natural. the 2 peices dont fit together tight so what ever the bonding agent was...it failed. so...
