I need to know what the Orange w/ White stripe & black w/ red striped wires are in the CDI box on aa 84 JS550. The guy with the 650 had such good luck I figured I try too.

the starter is also sitting on the bench. W/o plugs in, the starter will crank like mad. put the plugs in it though, and if it dont start in the first couple revolutions, you better have a spare battery standing by.

ok.. I'll have to do that when I get all the electrical stuff back in it.

Motor is fine. I can roll it by hand with out plugs and it has 118 compression in both cylinders. cables also both look fine.

I've blown 3 tanks in my js550, in a day, that was waking up, riding stopping for lunch, and riding till it was time to be off the water. the 550 doesnt burn much fuel. my Polaris 750 on the other hand... 3 tanks ( about 10gal. ea.) will last me about 5hrs. that pig be thirsty.

they didnt do that for me whenI ordered my 3 sheets. I even told the girl that answered where I heard about them when I placed my order. then I got railed on shipping. oh well. I did get it a couple days later so I'm not complaining.

I used the foam mat from lowes on the short bus and it worked like a charm and only cost me $12
