My new hood setup and Graphics from North Graphics

Here is my new waterdawg hood setup. Pretty pleased so far. I used some rubber liner that is provided with the JSS hood kit to put around the hand holds. The white of the hood and body don't match, but it isn't that bad. It'll do until it ever gets painted. I didn't go with any graphics...

Ratchet Hood Latch Setup... Need input

Okay so we got our ratchet strap system all setup for our new hood kits. We taped some drilled holes onto the waterdawg bracket. We used a 1" footman's loop to hold the strap onto bracket. We used 1" Suncor brand ratchet straps. At first we were going to weld a plate to the back of the...

I did the same for removing the carbs off my old R & D dual 44mm intake manifold. It was impossible without rigging something up.

    Slutty Super Jet

At a pismo ride last year, my buddy luke with the only red ski out on the water, was the only one to get talked to by the beach patrol for riding his ski too close to swimmers. Thing is he wasn't even close to the swimmers. Guess there is good and bad attention :dunno:

a repaint from boring stock blue

I think I'll stick with my stock paint job... hehe :cool2: What about your paint job yamaslut? How much, did you do it yourself, etc? Not including the pole of course. Just wondering how much for a single color like that would be.

    Splish splash...

Thats what I'm saying... I did something similar on a ski, and I think it was the reason why I got water into the flywheel area and rusted everything in there. I had never sank the ski up to that point. This was on all OEM unbroken seals.

    Charging flywheel

Depending on the condition, you should get close to enough to buy everthing you need to go back to a stock electrical system. I have a stator and flywheel for sale. Both are in mint condition. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/17970

    Slutty Mod Hood Question

I am having a problem with a stock square hood. I put a dual carb setup on, and now the vent tube that is mid was on the hood hits the stock OEM 38mm FA. There is no rubber breather tube on that one, and I even had to trim about 1/2" off the tube that is part of the hood liner that the rubber...

I'm single again! My new brap, Single BlackJack 46mm 62T setup

I went back and read what I typed, I didn't mean to say "every time I get water in 'em". It was wrong of me to say that. :banghead: It just so happened that both sets of carbs I rebuilt last year needed at least one or more gaskets and or diaphragms that needed to be replaced. The diaphragms...
