can any one tell what pipe this is?

    Now that I look closer, it's definitely a Mach 1. I'm 100% sure.

can any one tell what pipe this is?

You can tell size by that picture??? I'd guess Mach I, because the Mach II's were freaking expensive, and just wouldn't make sense on a 650. Did it say it has a 701?

    head question

I would because they're reusable... whereas a head gasket is like $20 a pop. Me, I'd send it back too, but I have girdle heads in stock

pwr. diff between 6m6 and 61x cases

Reeds are a touchy subject. If your engine isn't tuned well, or for the reeds, they won't reach their potential.

    head question

Yeah, but to modify a stock head is $100, and at least with the Riva you use o-ring seals (which are reusable, so you save some money there). Who'd you buy it from? I don't think that was a great deal, but it's still worth it. It's the dry pipes that really kill the cylinders, so you should...

    Excessive wear on driveshaft?

I don't know if it's true or not, but someone told me that was a weld mark... sometimes they are not so smooth and they'll cut your finger if you slide it along the shaft.

Lee Stone Denied License to Race in England

I'm not sure either, but it was kinda funny when he broke his Lenzi hull, then his Dad posted that it's supposed to break, lol. I wish I were the kid, even if he's spoiled or whatever. I had to save up forever for my first ski and it was a chitty Seadoo :frown:

All that matters is that it's not a B pipe

Lee Stone Denied License to Race in England

That poor kid, I feel really bad for him. I hope his parents buy him a new Lenzi ski to make the tears go away. Also a new Hydrospace to race in the Formula class if he ever makes to to California :arms:

pwr. diff between 6m6 and 61x cases

I think on a stock 701 cylinder you wouldn't see the difference (Group K claims their 650 can hang with the 701). But you might as well always go with X cases, they can be found dirt cheap and a 61X engine is worth more than a 6M6 if you ever decide to sell it. Bigger reeds is always...

Best stock prop for a superjet?

That's not a stock prop, it comes as a 13/17.

Magoos 85mm + Single Carb. Anyone?

It doesn't in theory, because it's the same volume of air. But with higher compression your engine can tolerate richer jetting specs (more compression = runs hotter = burns more completely). You should always aim for correct jetting though.

Magoos 85mm + Single Carb. Anyone?

You can adjust the pipe screws anytime you want, but you won't know how much water is coming out of them until you use the method that geek described above. It's not an exact science, but you'll be able to see the difference in flow between say 1/4 turn out, and 1/2 turn out.
