    I can't imaging having "winter"

Actually what really sucks is winter AND flat water :frown:

    I can't imaging having "winter"

    New B-Pipe Headpipe pricing.

I have a brand new one I'd sell for $200 + shipping. Or complete with the rest of the pipe for $550 if anyone here is looking for one.

Dave Ramsey, debt, credit cards, retirement, etc

What's up with that bus??????? I was pretty lucky, I never had student loans so I've been debt free since I graduated from college about 3 years ago. I have a mortgage, but it's like an investment IMO. I'm going to start doing the Roth IRA thing, it looks like a good deal because your...

    Single Or Dual Carbs

It's simple, if you have 61X cases, run a single. If you have 62T cases, run duals. Maybe you guys are confusing "bottom end" with "throttle response". Because the instant you hit the throttle your RPM's jump to 3,000-4,000 (I'm talking instantly). Look at a tachometer (this is the only...

    Single Or Dual Carbs

The single would have a higher velocity moving through it. But who says that's better? Nobody argues that smooth ports are better than rogh ones. Torque is good to have everywhere, no question about that. But I don't think a single makes more torque than duals. Especially if your only...

    Single Or Dual Carbs

I have an LT1 engine (basically a Vortec engine) in one of my cars, it has 260 horsepower and 330 ft-lbs of torque. How much power/torque does the TBI 350 make? Let me guess, it's not even close. The reason the Vorec's rev higher is they have much better heads than those TBI engines. The...

    Single Or Dual Carbs

Please tell me you're joking! That makes no sense... at all!! TBI sucks ass, those TBI motors are absolute DOGS in trucks (and they get worse gas mileage). Go ride in a Chevy truck that has a Vortec, I think they started in 1995. Vortecs pull much better, hands down. BTW, if an engine makes...

    Single Or Dual Carbs

Because the amount of air going into the engine itself is mostly a function of RPM's (the engine is an air pump, remember). Not speed through the carb. When the faster moving air spreads out to two cyliners, it slows down. What makes one think that "faster" moving air atomizes better? You...

    Single Or Dual Carbs

I think duals would give you better atomization, since they have twice as many orifices to do the job. The air speed going into the intake runners is the same in either case.

That part's $11 at Riva (for a Superjet).

    Single Or Dual Carbs

Duals will meter more effectively since they have twice as many fuel holes. So that should make them more efficient (given similar power levels). Mikuni says a single 44 is only good up to 80 horsepower.

    Single Or Dual Carbs

That is one theory, but there are other theories that don't support the single. Like some say if you are running a single, that when one reed set closes, the air/fuel charge turns around and starts to get sucked into the other cylinder. So the air flow actually slows down/gets messed up...

    billet parts

There's not really much there to stuff, the reeds are relatively small. Matt, reedspacer kits are only like $60 with gaskets and hardware. You can don't much else to your ski, for cheaper. Used ones sll for around $30 on a regular basis.

    Maybe MSD Understand Now

I think they come with a 1 year warranty, so I still like them. I've never had one quit on me, but I did buy a bad used one once.

    Can you say: Cavitation

I had one one time I could almost see through  Cavitation might eat stator blades at some point, but not like rocks will

    billet parts

I forgot about the XFT pump shoe. What's it sell for? IMO you should go after that parts that nobody else makes. Or make similar parts, but with a spin. Like the picture on the head thing. While it's not for me, someone might like it.
