austin area - between dripping springs and lake travis. that was at Reimers ranch which has about a 160 ft elevation change 18 mile trail with smaller loops for beg. sport. adv. muleshoe bend park has 8 miles with plenty of ups and downs, i think that one is the best trail in austin area...

we've got hills here but it wasn't worth putting in the vid. those shots were from where the sport loop meets up with the beginner loop, just flat and twisty.

astrix huckster 8" rear travel 7" front travel. i rode this downhill rig in a XC race. 2x heavier than my hardtail but shaved about 10 minutes of my time. Don't worry about getting "more" than you need, get the bike that you want to have and its always better to have more travel than not enough.
