Oh yeah, these rule.

The foam around your holds may hold water if you added extra foam when they were installed...if extra foam wasn't added, it probably wasn't strong enough and cracked.

Get a versaplug...should drain any water out of the back of the ski. Screws right into your normal drain plug. (The sxrs store water in the back anyways, so as far as I'm concerned, versaplugs are MANDATORY because the back is wide open). Then in winter, rip off the turf and patch up those holds.

I'll probably cruise the sound looking for cool sea life....but, I want surf! I can ride flat at home. The dates are July 13th-18th. I'd make a 2 hour trip for some Junkie Surf! Let me know when and I'll plan it.

I am doing a family vacation in Corolla NC July 13 -18th. Of course, I want to take my ski and do some surf riding...Is this possible or do I have to make a jaunt up to Va. Beach? Can I even ride in Va. Beach? Would love to ride with some people one day. Thanks!

Got a SJ steering system on top...just need more throw out of the bottom. Anyone have pics of the moon cuts? Does it cause any blow-by?

I want to get more steering out of my SXR. Can anyone show me how they cut up the nozzle so it moves farther? How do you stop 'blow by'? Show me your setups. Is there an aftermarket nozzle that gives more steering?

I'll be in NC Outer Banks in July. How far to ride legally? Going to bring my ski for sure if I can surf once or twice.

Does it matter if the crank seals are placed with the copper out or in? Can I run them either way? Stock SXR motor rebuild....
