there was a runner here on CL all winter long for as low as 700 at Xmas time...now he's back up too 1000
depends on what you want to do with it as well....
I probably wouldnt spend more than 7-800 on it..and that would depend on where the motor came from and just how clean is clean
especially for us little guys!
one time a few years ago I took my 97 GP12 to my supersecret private ride spot in michigan...........the inlet to the water fell about 15 feet short of the big lake so I had to drag it across deep michigan singing sands
it took me over 3 hours to get it...

they are rght about the prop..youre wasting your time if you dont change it out....this baffled me at first but...
do ANY of the bmx style helmets come without foam that will saturate???? I havent seen one yet.....my GIROr emedy is disgustingly heavy when its wet...
i agree with wydopen on the point that with a stiff pole you canNOT waveride with the fluidity that you will with a loose or sprung pole..
the stiffy definatly helps as a point of leverage for tricking, but it was born n bred as a flatwater mod.......
watching Lucas going for double after double after double was just painful and frustrating.......he is SOOOOOO close, unbelieveable how fast the he was coming off that V wake into the first rotation
waaayyyyyyyyy too much work...
clean off grease, smear with JB weld..reinsert shafts....
we have a blaster here in auggie thats been like this for going on 3 years.........
just realize that if you this the shafts will need to be cut if you need to replace pump shoe, prop etc etc...
