I'm partial to Western Digital myself.
Have one that is 8 years old and one that is 7. The other 2 are young-ins compared at about 4 years and not one issue. Have lost other drives in the past but never a WD.
Thats sort of why I want to organize some stuff.
Right now I have 3 drives in my desktop for storage, it's time to clean house and get things ready so that I can transfer it all onto one large one. Finding the time for the much needed spring cleaning has always been an issue but it looks like...
I networked the 2 together (thanks JETT) and it seams to be working just fine.
Copying the first folder right now but that will take 3 hours and 55 minutes. Damn, only 3 folders to go.
I know it sounds stupid to dump so much crap onto a laptop but for the next few weeks I will be doing a lot...
Here's a dump little issue I'm having.
I want to transfer a shait load of my music files (lets say 50GB) from the desktop to my laptop but don't know how to go about it. The desktop is running XP while the laptop Vista, if that matters. Only portable storage device I have is a 4 GB memory...
WOW, reading those invoices made me chuckle.
IMO that ski is worth $7K.
Here's how.
A stock salt water ridden SJ won't sell for more than $5K but yours has some goodies that bump the price up some.
I still wouldn't pay $7K for it but some would.
Look at all the custom skis for sale right now...
I could have sworn they had something more high tech on those things where the rider had to pull a rip cord. Mind you, this was quite some time ago and it was too farking cold to remember every detail.
Guess not.
Anyway, an air bag and a canister could be adapted to fit a scupper tube that is...
Tee hee hee, how true.
What do snow mobile riders use when they race on water ?
I know they have some safety device that blows a bag but I prefer the simple stuff.
My ski floats and if the rear is painted bright enough, it may make spotting it easier. Coastguard orange anyone ?
This will change things up a bit but for the better, I hope.
We still get to play hot potato with the extinguisher if you want to ride before or after.
Never noticed much of one when you look closely at what is supplied and what you have to supply.
WOW, my little XS motor is 3 years old.
Time to change the plugs yet ?
I bet you can gain a lot of ride time simply by slowing down in that long slow speed zone. Why plow the water and get there 30 seconds faster but low on fuel.
Matching your speed to your buddys will save your more fuel than the proposed carb swap ever could.
that was kind of my point.
The OP is thinking of putting on smaller carbs to deal with a long no wake or slow speed zone. To me that would be pointless.
Big carbs don't always equal to shorter range.
