OK grasshopper. Paint that ski all purdy like only to find out days later that you should have modded that stock hood. Whatever floats your boat but before you commit to a color, make sure you aren't omitting an important step.

So I assume that SN has every mod already done to it since you are concerned about the paint ? Is that a stock handle pole and stock air intakes on that unmodified hood I see ???

Smart move. Spend your cash on the things that will make it run better instead of the things that make it look pretty. Sucks having a fancy hull with a stock motor. When you get good enough and build up a strong driveline, skip the RH phase altogether and get something like a BOB.

For flat water both are obsolete so which ever looks better to you or which ever makes more economic sense, would be the better one.
