Super Jet Anyone ever try a pump wedge on a SuperJet ?

Anyway, I'm thinking about adding some spacers between the stop and trim ring to get a bit more angle. Just want to see what another degree or 2 will do for the handling and how far I can go before the thing starts porpoising like a mother.

Super Jet ....CARBON LOVERS WET DREAM.....almost done.

Friend of mine threw a layer of carbon on the very bottom of his hull. That stuff has held up surprisingly well.

Stock SN Superjet in the surf?

While I agree with the rest, this line doesn't seam quite right. Other than hood kits, what other RN specific parts are out there that don't work on SN's ???

Stock SN Superjet in the surf?

You rip out the stock hood liner, that white bit with the 2 black hoses on the underside of your hood. You glass over the top air intakes and the 3 holes in the front, make a new liner and drill some new air intake holes in the back of the hood. Cut's the amount of water that dumps into the...

Super Jet Anyone ever try a pump wedge on a SuperJet ?

I have a deep d-cut. Not as extreme as yours but deeper than most. I have a half sunken boat and a few hundred mangrove trees to thank for that mod. I threw on a non-molested stock plate just to see what would happen. It did level things out a bit but still way different.

Stock SN Superjet in the surf?

Bilge pump is a must IMO. Blocking off the stock hood air intakes and making a new liner would be a close second.

Super Jet Anyone ever try a pump wedge on a SuperJet ?

That's where they go. I wanted the cable as tight as possible to get all the pull I could out of it. Welding on a stop was easy and seamed like a logical step since I was welding up the siphon and visibility spout holes anyway. Now the cable has just a bit of slack when not in use. How can...

Super Jet Anyone ever try a pump wedge on a SuperJet ?

When installing an X-metal trim on my trusty old SN I went ahead and welded a piece of aluminum to act as a stop on the bottom of my nozzle. Didn't want the cable to be under constant strain when the trim wasn't being used. Anyway, I welded it on where the trim ring wouldn't sit at 0* but more...

Help on what ski to buy?

Hook up with the guys from Aussie (you didn't say where exactly you were from), I'm sure they can help you find a nice SN with a few goodies on it. From then on, it's all down hill as you find new and shiny parts to bolt on. BTW, welcome to the nut hut.

    Other Trailer pics

Thatnks. Now it holds 2 skis and 1 beach cart. Still debating weather I need to build a second cart for the other ski to sit on. I hardly ever use the back up boat and if I do, than my main ski is already in the water.
