If you meant that a 750 prop modded to fit a 650 pump will not fit back into a 750 pump then yes

You will have to have something that fits the splines of the impeller to remove it

If you do decide to go with a new coil, use the Kawasaki coil, same basic coil for about half the price of the OEM yamaha one

Pumps are the same diameter , props do not directly interchange, it has to do with the depth of the splines and the distance from the stator section, the 750 props can be modded to fit the 650 pump

Take the rear cone off, the shaft has two flat spots on it, check it in a vise on the two flat spots impeller facing up, now you need a KAWI impeller tool to remove the impeller from the pump shaft, you could use an old shaft and a pipe wrench if you have one available, the threads are regular...

Yes there is resistance in the coil, to measure the resistance on the caps they must be removed from the wires or pull the rubber boots off them so you can get to both ends to measure the resistance through the connector, of course when you do this it will be obvious if its a resistor cap or not.
