p Agreed the pump inserts and factory sealant are a big source of water intrusion the drive shaft tube also needs to be sealed real well the factory seal is very bad. Mark44

I would put in drains and voids. I did this to mine and Katie's and it is nice years later to be able to pull the plugs and drain out water. I get a couple cups of water after a year of riding and I sealed the heck out of the hull when I refoam. Do a search on voids I have listed step by step...

You will not be able to use a tiny tach for that you will need to buy a real tach I would recommend a Fluke but a tach for tuning is not cheap. . Mark44
