only advise on the prorider, their sizes seem to run small... i had to send my large back and return it for an XL. My head size is like 7 1/4 - 7 3/8...

I like the pro-rider better personally, even though the protec is a little more comfortable. Sounds strange, but the prorider feels lighter on while riding. Maybe because there is less padding in the prorider, and it doesn't ever really feel water logged.

That too is a nice helmet. I can say that after wearing the Pro-Rider and a Protec (my buddy has one), the Protec helmet is more comfortable. The Pro-Rider did, however, stand up quite well to a pretty good pancake I took this fall... I got really twisted up attemping a BF... long story...

Ok, so I took 2 pumps and 2 intermediate housings to a local dealer to be rebuilt as I do not have a press nor the time to rebuild them myself. Anyway, they rebuilt both housings and one before before the service manager calls to tell me that his watercraft tech broke two of the three SS...

that would very cool... like a skate comp. the same weekend or something to draw more of a crowd. Many people who would come to another event may know nothing of jetskiing, but really dig it once they are there.

yeah, I caught that after I re-read your post. Not sure if it would eliminate that or not... just throwing out some ideas... Who here has participated in judging any comps? Maybe some feedback from a judges perspective might help.

If you were going to run more than one rider at a time, you could overcome the fairness of scoring (meaning some tricks could get missed because a judge was watching a different rider) by expanding the judge list. In other words, 5 judges scoring two riders... one or two judges might miss...

Very cool bro... the score sheet for each rider is then just a check list of tricks more or less.

Hell yeah! And it's much less subjective as the scoring rules are pre-defined.

Killer ideas man! Pete, I love the idea of an East Coast event!!!!!! :biggthumpup: How about setting it up like gymnastics too... have to perform a set list of tricks for each class (novice and expert) that HAVE to be done, as well as any elective tricks for each rider. Then...
