    Dual 44 Mikuni observations

Definitely try a stock cone or a stock nozzle. Do you have a popoff gage?

    Who's SJ hits the hardest.

Smitty's Lamey powered Superjet is the hardest hitting one I've tried, I think.

    New ADA Yamaha Cylinder

Actually billet has a higher thermal conductivity, so it is better at heat dissipation. But they are very close, it's not worth arguing about. If you have more billet mateiral by volume, it will hold more heat. And vice-versa. Sleeves, by contrast, don't conduct heat very well. If you use...

    New ADA Yamaha Cylinder

It's billet, billet is stronger than cast. I don't think it will be any lighter, it looks pretty massive on the outside.

701 -can't figure out what went wrong

I've been told that with more squish you can rum more compression with less octane. I think you'll be fine, watch the WOT runs though if you're on pump gas.

What bolts is #.0 using here?

Anyone know where I can get one chrome acorn nut for an ADA girdle head stud? I assume it's an M10 x 1.25 but I could be wrong.

What to use on Motor Mount bolts?

I'd use grease and/or thread sealant. I'm not worried about corrosion, (fresh water only) but it sure makes getting them out easier!

First ride on the superjet! BOOO

The stock pitch for the 650 Superjet and the 701 Superjet is almost the same (if not the same). You'd need a ton of power to make it spin for no reason. Do you have a ported cylinder?

    I tried tubbies yesterday

Everybody had parabolic sponsons back in the day. I don't know how they work on a Superjet, but they might be wider than you think. The 3D ones for example were half an inch thick. So both sides equals over one inch, which changes the water dynamics around the hull quite a bit. The...

First ride on the superjet! BOOO

This is easy to fix, you just have to spend a few hours going over your ski. First inspect the impeller/stator vanes because it's a 20 minute job to pull the pump. When you put it back on, put some silicone sealant on the pump seal just to make sure it's sealed (I never use it on Yamaha's, but...

    I tried tubbies yesterday

What makes fiberglass better than plastic? The Waterdwg sponsons that you speak of were made of polycarbonate.... the plastic they make bulletproof glass out of  I guess if your ski doesn't have to be bulletproof, fiberglass will suffice :sneaky:

Buy Wiseco pistons individually or as "matched" pairs?

So how do they make a mached pair? They should all be matched pairs. Unless they grab two out of a bin and balance them to eachother for the kit.
