    HELP, compression problems!

You'll see deto marks on the top of your pistons, they show up as tiny holes (because the material actually melts away in the case of detonation). Those piston tops look pretty good to me, granded it's not a big clear picture so that that with a grain of slat. Check the compression when it's...

    Who's SJ hits the hardest.

    PV vs. Non-PV

Dan Lamey said in an old post that they make the same power above 5500 RPM weather or not they have exhaust valves. I might be misquoting 5500 RPM but you get the idea. You should be able to adjust the tension on the valves to tune when they open. I think the powervalves take out the "hit"...

    dented tnt

Well the picture that Stanford posted is of one my old TNT chambers, and it is definitely dented in the same 2 places that yours is (granted, the dent on the outside is a much cleaner dent than yours). As for pictures of chambers that are on skis... you can't see the dents when the pipe is...

    dented tnt

Like I told you yesterday, it's dented on the inside to clear the engine and on the outside to clear the hull. Those are pretty common dents, you could even see the inside one on the Ebay pictures.

    PV vs. Non-PV

I'd get the porting that Smitty has, his engine was sweet. Geeks isn't a stroker.

    PV vs. Non-PV

I personally would opt not for them, not in a freestyle ski anyway.

    Gelcoat vs. Paint?

You know what's strange, I've never seen paint peel on a Yamaha, but I see it all the time on the Kawasaki's. Hmmm :sneaky:
