Honestly, I had no idea of the importance. Gil was the first to take me to "idle school" last Friday. I have always just turned my idles way down.
Good call. I'm taking it back out Thursday.
Group K filled it when I got the big bore done.
I returned it to where Art had it today:
pilot 82.5
main 155
N&S 1.8
95g spring
raised my idle to 1800 out of water RPMs

The N&S were at 1.5, not 2.5. It really looks like a 1.8 but apparently, they don't make it.
I dropped from 95g spring to 80 and dropped the 82.5 to 80 pilot. I think they'll cancel each other out but allow me to keep my idle a little lower.
Hopefully the ramp will be slow enough to allow me...
