have you tried the watcon octane seals? i personally like them better than oem. they are thicker and like 20$ or something. i believe 30 shipped.

so i talked to art at jetworks today about getting my porting done and he told me he used to take the lower barbed fitting off the head pipe and restrict it just like the lower b pipe screw would do. he said its a great pipe but the b pipe will let the rpms get slightly higher.

that is true. i jb welded mine to the hull but they come apart at the top too i believe there is a tab up there too. either way it wont break like that crappy rule basket

there is a newer attwood design too its called the tsunami or somthing? they are a little bit taller but still clear the coupler cover. you push a tab and twist to release from the basket

this is like arguing religon..... no right answer... i run 2 500gph pumps, no stock siphon and no problems. i ride surf when i get a chance too, still, with no problems. i use the walmart 17$ attwood bilge pumps because the mounting baskets are alot stronger than the rule baskets.
