i just had dave repair an impeller for my jetmate. his pricing was very fair considering all the work he had to do and the final product exceeded my expectations. dave is a kewl kat!

stock speed is 28~30 with a 750, depending on the combo of impeller, pipe, carbs, etc, theyre 35~40

i would re-check your compression a couple times to ensure that is the correct psi.

due to my xft ride, i wound up using a kawi 650 steering nozzle (way more throw than the SJ nozzle) because the oem nozzle wouldnt fit..... the cable did hit the cooling fitting boss on the pump, but i ground it down to where the cable doesnt hit it anymore.

heat the boss a LOT, like everyone says. when i do it, i use vice grips on the screw, but with and allen wrench in place as to not collapse the screw. wiggle back and forth to break it loose. plan on buying 3 new screws.

you should ride it in its stock form first. that way youll further appreciate the added power of the pipe and higher compresion! also, doesnt the '08 come with a chitty aluminum prop? if so, youre going to want to change that too.
