Throttle Barrel Clamp ,Cable Stop 38mm/44

you could probably tale a metal dowel (brass? aluminum?) thats the same diameter as the stock barrel, drill it for the cable and drill and tap the end for a set screw. make it as long as you need it on one end to accomodate the screw's threads.

    Ever been done?

i dont see how you could get the wrist pins and bearings properly. if they lock up due to rust, it could cause major damage. i could see how itd prolong the life of the bottom end bearings, but youd want to make sure the pistons are setting even with eachother as to not have the lower bearings...

What to clear my ac pole with???

the "chineman" that does all of broward motorsports' polishing for their custom line of custom bikes recommends not clearing over polished aluminum, but to keep polishing it. its alotta work, but clear never really looks good on polished aluminum.

    My first ride since Daytona

did you store that ski in subfreezing temperatures? a ported cylinder thats ungirdled can easily crack right there in the corner of the casting and feezing water can expand the already compromised metal in that area. just a theory. id shyt my shorts if i pulled the hood of one of my skis to...

    Ever been done?

the above "example" would be a toasted engine come riding season. kawis have the crankcase drain, but they should always be ran, or torn down after sinking. i block off all crankcase drains on kawis because they are very very yucky. thats right..

    SBN Fuel Pump block off

yes, the carb still needs a restrictor or else the fuel will just pass right through it and not make it to the metering section/jets.

    bending x metal straight bars

i just changed a bent set on mine. the right side was bent fwd. i know of another local rider thats had the same problem. now, i just buy 7/8" aluminum tube and cut it 1" longer than the xmetal..... and its thicker-walled stock, as well. i dont worry about the knurled end, as i use clamp-on ODI...

    MSD flywheel question?

i see two tiny magnets (count the holes in pic two... theyre easier to see there). BK sent me an identical flywheel a while back. it has the magnets on the outer part of the inside (you can verify this with a nail. see if the magnets draw it in) the two tiny round magnets are for TL.

Would you sand & re-coat this hull? *pics

id check out pwctoday and see what the honda guys are doing to keep their hulls pristine. j/k... id run it. sand it and paint it if it bothers you, but i can tell you, first hand, that a nice smooth and shiny hull handles way crappier than when its "loved", like yours is.
