with my bilge pumps... i use clear rtv/silcone... I know most would say not to use it b/c if you get gas in your engine compartment it will start to eat away the silicone... but I have split gas in my engine compartment and it has not been a problem... I like RTV b/c it kinda "gives" a little...

i wouldn't say it is useless... i see water come out of the front one all the time when riding... especially if you are just floating taking a break, the front of the ski sits in the water deeper than the back... it picks up that little bit of water that comes in through the dump tube coming out...

not if you don't use the x-metal bracket... you can use any other bracket with the x-metal pole. but if you run the x-metal bracket, then your using bolts.

i like my wdk hood and nose piece... work great... looks great... and it light and strong. i think I am one of the few that had a pretty straight forward experience with Jeff. and the price is significantly less... so it may take a while to get it, but you'll be spending way less.
