Mine did that too, but I still use them. If you put them somewhere where the line is straight I think they won't bend.

Water is incompressible so if you ever get a lot of water on top of your piston you're guranateed to break something (usually the rod). Do you have a single carb? If there was only water in your back cylinder, maybe your front rod punched a hole in the cases and let the water drain out...

Se if you can turn it by hand, you might have thrown a rod.

So you just had a dead battery? Is your old starter good? You need a digital multi meter if you want to check voltage/current/resistance on components. You can probably find a good one for around $100, they're nice to have.

Can you measure the resistance of your cables? ALso, check the connections inside the electric box. Exp. the 2 grounding posts.

Where's your ground hooked to? That starter was actually spinning a 230psi engine when I last tested it :cool2:

Just out of curiosity, why did you go with 48's?

Why not use epoxy to make the channel thingys? I bet the polyester would stick, but not as well as epoxy (for sure). I wouldn't waste any time with the polyester.

I haven't seen any advertised for cheaper lately. If it's clean... that's the most important thing.
