    ada racing 989 billet cylinder

It's hardly any extra money, the only real diference is the cost of the long bolts (which are pennies on a $4,000+ engine). Notice it only has 1 bolt in the middle of the cylinders... so the girdle might be necessary.

    2007 superjet

Yeah but because Yamaha is no longer offering the 800 in a ski, it will be difficult for the new Superjet to come with one. It probably has really crappy emissions... I wish they'd fuel inject it like the 1300.

    I name brand of carbs.

    ada racing 989 billet cylinder

It's $1,995 with the sleeves (not installed). It'll be well over $4,000 for the complete longblock by the time you add it all up.

For those who wish to improve their steering...

I get that part but how do they hook to the nozzle and turn plate? Do they press over the stock ball, or bolt directly on? I'm ssuming they bolt directly on with a bolt through the hole, but I've never tried.

For those who wish to improve their steering...

What do you do, bolt them directly to the steering plate and turn nozzle?

    hp vs. couplers

Thanks Wax, I was mostly looking for a little reassurance since I just sold my billet units. I'll be gentle on these stockers, I'm probably only putting out 100hp or so :cool2:

    hp vs. couplers

How much horsepower can the stock 3-lug driveshaft couplers handle?

I know Superjets are the way to go, but what about this...

I learned on a 650SX, it was a great ski to learn on. That price seems quite reasonable to me.

Will I die if I try a backflip?

    Definitely wear the helmet.

    Rough tuning...Am I getting anywhere

I agree with Wax. However, remember that the screws and jets affect different throttle positions.

    Klutz!

Hey at least you got to go riding, I've been pulling weeds all day :frown:
