Do you have a tach on it?

Look at the cutaway. It must be that the low speed screw can't flow as much as the pilot jet, so the pilot jet will have no affect on the idle.

Look at the chart on Mikuni's website, it tells you what controls what.

Starvin' Marvin has tried a fuel injection system. I remember him talking about it but I don't know if it was MRD.

Don't forget to raise your popoff.

I'd try 115 pilots, 120 mains, and 30psi popoff. Low screw about 1.125 turns out and high screw between 1 and 1.25 turns out. I bet it would work well...

I'm not sure, I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering but I am working as a Product Engineer (or paper pusher as my CAD monkey calls me, lol).

I wouldn't think you'd want to use 701 domes on a bore that big.

150 hot isn't too bad, what's it when it's cold? How much was the head milled? Even with a tired top end you should be able to keep up easily with a 650... I'd guess your tuning isn't correct (carbs/exhaust). Which pipes do you have?

I'd try the stock jetting first. I don't see any way a motor would run with 125 lows and 15psi popoff, it just doesn't make sense to me.

CG most definitely didn't pay for it, and Jeff is under the assumption that CG doesn't want it anymore. Last spring Jeff was offering a $500 hoodkit deal and he was willing to ship before receiving payment...
