After three tanks, I would consider your break in as broken in. Now's the time to move to a better oil. BeNOL, Dominator, Maxima, R-50, etc.

I would tear the carb down, clean the filter, and hose everything off with carb cleaner. In a confined space. Breathing deeply. Pondering life.

What oil?

I have run a million gallons with Amsoil Dominator, five gallons with Klotz R-50, and just added Klotz BeNOL to the mix as it smells so very niiiiiiiice.
