Those 650 can take that compression on pump gas and live happily at WOT. I tried killing mine and couldn't. Just run it and if it does blow, it's only a 650.

You'll also lose power running no waterbox. So, it will sound like :-):-):-):-), potentialy swamp your motor and run slower. Your call.

IMO the X-metal pole is much better than the RRP and has a much better warranty. Only downside, it's heavier than the OEM pole but so is the RRP.

Yep, that's why I mentioned it a while ago in this thread. Check the bolt lengths and the depths.

I think that $100 OEM RN pole is so much better looking than that $1000 RRP. It's best if you lay flat that pole mount area but at the very least, strengthen it. Dual breathers are nice and all but I'd still run air through the hood. If done right, the SN hood can be a dry one.

I wouldn't run blended vegetable oil at anything less than 1:20. It's all canola you know. It's what the poor folks would run. For that 1:1 ratio you need 100% peanut oil. Might be a bit pricey but it's only money.

32:1 with dino oil since I ingest salt all the time. Been running it like that since the piped couch days.

Bad idea there. Wipe out and pop your hood off all in one. Not only will you snap your pole, pinch your wiring and cables but swamp and maybe sink your ski.

For $1200 we built a complete SN with a 701 and a pipe. Don't blame you for wanting to assemble this one yourself.
