padding is a tricky concept...build like, 5 skis.......then you'll have it figured out lol..... 25mm is awesomely cushy...but definatly raises your center of gravity a bit.....you can feel it if you know the differenve between 8 and 25 on the same ski.... just depends on what you are...

matt's pole is a carbon Xmetal clone....it will fit a SJ perfectly, but like I said...Tem doesnt make it anymore............his NEW pole looks very similar to an XFT carbon pole ANY of the poles listed above will fit a roundie with the possible excpetion of the MMF........... all...

Tem doesnt make that pole anymore...he has a new style.....doesnt look quite as good but its definatly superfreaky get goose off that list..........junk...looks like 2 fenceposts welded together WDK doesnt make poles anymore....but they ARE the strongest ever, Ive owned 3 and still have one...

he one thing noone mentioned....right before the tarpon shot he DRILLED that pelican with jetspray....nice shot carter!

different beast...doesnt handle like either one... felt like a solid ski in the surf, very easy to ride..stable and flickable.....nice boat!
