local ride out here lost a WDK diablo hood at one spot, and it washed up 30 miles south in daytona beach and was found by another local rider a few weeks later...crazy!
matt its not so much the slide that is difficult..but makes the recovery too violent (at least thats why I ditched it).............glide across a wave, grab the throttle and the mag would just hook and grab which would high-side me right off the boat especailly if tired....

any foam inside the tray should be nothing but poly....
look around for a stock nose foam....lots of people remove them for front exhaust.........IMO is invaluble

note the report states 2-3....on set was EASILY 10' faces......had to time it right to bunny hop the whitewash...
