i'd run a long wooden dowel thru the pump area.....route out what you can, then blow out the rest with compressed air....

sounds like you have a bad plug wire..then as things get hot the plug begins to short out...... try pulling off ONE plug wire, and starting on one cylinder.......then swap and see if one of the plug wires will run the engine do the plugs look the same or is one darker/ligher than the other???

the carbon will not adhere to that flexible plastic....now if you wanted to make a mold out of the pieces and then make carbon replacement parts that would work... do like slutty says and use carbon vinyl.....you can rice your ski out in no time!
