If you're not renting a car, why not just take the shuttle from Orlando to Daytona? Check the Orlando airport website - there's a link to shuttle service.

Don't know that I'd want a shield flipping around. First thing I do with helmets is to remove the visor. They end up getting ripped off anyway.
