I drill and tap the trim lever to accept the cable threads. Our levers are SNAFU c. brake levers $9.58 from airbomb.com

Bilge thru hull question
I cover the area with tape then use a hole saw to cut the hole, a drillbit tends to chip and bust out the glass. Mark44
