    little bit of pricing help?

are they shortblocks? or do they have carbs, electrics, starters, etc? pricing of either would depend on the condition of the rest of whats there. is there excessive corrosion? signs of overheating? PM me if you need a good used crank or 2.

    Bashing shins...

learn how to side mount your ski. it takes more upper body strength, a tight steering ratio and an impeller that has the hookup as well as an engine with the power to drive it up and out.

    +1" turn plate

    replacing crank seals question

ya, the lip sits in a groove. try to pull one out or put one in and youll surely destroy it, if the cases arent split.

Tuning duals after choke removal- Help

adding additional screens, or somehow restricting the air intake, would probably work as a temp fix in compensating for where the popoff should be. i used to remove all of my choke plates and add primers, but i found that it does cause other issues. it is possible to run a primer and a choke...

    Now I really f----- up!

a bolt? hmmm, thats a NPT hole. its not a standard (or metric) bolt size, that i know of, since its for plumbing.... as i recall. either put the flush kit on it or get a brass plug for it. either way, youll be screwing a brass fitting into those threads if you dont want to mess anything up.

    crank failure Qs

    Which Blaster To Buy?

sounds like it has $800-$1000 in sellable aftermarket parts. but the no use in 3 years thing is bothersome. the "high idle" could be carburetion.... or worse. tough choice. i would have to see them before giving advice that id consider to be "sound". with that said, if that clean stocker is...
