    the only cutting i did was to the engine cowling. i used an angle grinder with a sanding disk. everything will fit, even without cutting, but the rubber "pig noses" get squeezed by the opening. i didnt have to cut down the f/a at all. just bolted it right on. it doesnt hit the hatch at all.

    ....and theyre only like $5 at harbor freight. i just peck at where the threads meet the shaft and booger it all up w/ the punch about 10 times. theyre really easy to work with in that confined area too.

    What is the best waterbox for a blaster?

    i have a b1 TDR box in mine. its built very well and isnt very loud at all. however, i have a waterbox from a raider that i want to put under the battery area to quiet it down more, shift the weight of the box to the back, and clear up under the hood a bit.

    its not that time consuming. i can typically get a ski on the water within 20 minutes after sinking. here its been 2 days and a lotta talking. can you say rusty bearings?

    theyre definitely angled. also, dont tighten/loctite the butterfly untill all the other linkage is in place.

    im putting on of those automatic rule pumps on that comes on momentarily every 2.5 minutes. battery drain wont be a concern since i always have them on battery tenders. i had a float switch in there but it a took a dump after getting submerged in fuel. oops.
